The best Arena FPS by far
I don't know exactly how much I played this as a kid, but surely a lot. Mostly against bots, then I started playing some Quake Live and Quake Champions online, but still nothing can beat Q3A! I could never find a bug in this game, there surely were but hard to find one, and it's one of the most fast paced FPS around, even today. There are more good arena shooters like unreal tournament, serious sam, painkiller, and other, but quake is the master of all, at least for me. If you never tried it, you should. It might seem old for today, but it still has its old fashioned style. Be aware, it requires a lot of skill and reflexes. Not for casual gamers because you will get frustrated very soon. Quake Champions is probably a bit more suited for casuals.
